Sindh CM Reviews Key Infrastructure Projects in Karachi: Major Roads Near Completion
Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah on Monday conducted a detailed review of several major infrastructure projects in Karachi, aimed at improving connectivity, reducing traffic congestion, and enhancing cargo movement.
22km Link Road Nears Completion
In a high-level meeting at CM House, the Chief Minister directed the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Unit to ensure that the 22-kilometer link road, which connects the M-9 Motorway with the National Highway (N-5), is opened by July 25.

Purpose: Facilitate cargo flow between Port Qasim and the national road network

Completion Timeline: Full interchange to be completed by end of October
Once operational, the existing link road will be decommissioned.
Shahrah-e-Bhutto Expressway Reaches 82% Completion
The Shahrah-e-Bhutto Expressway is progressing rapidly:

Korangi Causeway Bridge to Open by November
Another major project under review is the Korangi Causeway Bridge, a Rs. 6.1 billion initiative that is 80% complete and expected to be inaugurated by November.
