Pakistan and India Set to Renew Cricket Rivalry at Hong Kong Sixes 2025

  Oct 22, 2025

Cricket fans are in for a treat as Pakistan and India are set to face off once again — this time at the Hong Kong International Sixes 2025. Both teams have been drawn into the same group, reigniting one of the sport’s most thrilling rivalries.

The two sides will compete in Group C, which also includes Kuwait, as part of the 12-team event. The format divides teams into three groups, with the top two from each progressing to the Cup Finals, while the third-placed teams move to the Bowl League.

According to the schedule, Pakistan will open its campaign against Kuwait on November 7 at 7:05 AM (PST), followed by the much-anticipated clash against India at 12:45 PM the same day. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed that Abbas Afridi will lead the national side in the tournament.

Set to run from November 7 to 9, the Hong Kong Sixes promises high-octane cricket action, featuring fast-paced matches, short boundaries, and plenty of entertainment for fans around the world.

Organizers say the decision to include both Pakistan and India in the same group celebrates the sport’s greatest rivalry and the passion it brings to global audiences.
