In a major move to advance regional football, the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF) to strengthen cooperation in multiple areas of the sport.

The agreement focuses on coach education, youth programs, and women’s football development. It includes plans for player and coach exchange programs, as well as joint training camps aimed at improving skills and fostering emerging talent in both countries.

According to officials, the collaboration is designed to create sustainable growth and enhance technical expertise across all levels of football. For Pakistan, the partnership offers access to Saudi Arabia’s advanced facilities, modern coaching methods, and player development systems.

Women’s football will also benefit from the partnership, with initiatives to support training opportunities and international exposure for female players.

This agreement reflects Pakistan’s broader efforts to rebuild its football structure and strengthen ties with leading Asian football nations, while supporting Saudi Arabia’s vision of expanding its regional influence through sports collaboration.
