WhatsApp Rolls Out “Ask Meta AI” Feature Inside Chats for Users in Pakistan
WhatsApp has started introducing its new Ask Meta AI feature within chats for some users in Pakistan. The tool lets people interact with Meta’s AI chatbot directly, making it easier to ask questions or get quick information without switching apps.
How It Works
Once the feature is enabled, an Ask Meta AI icon appears inside the chat screen. Users can type in their queries or requests, and the AI responds right within the same conversation. This works for both private and group chats, with replies visible to everyone in the thread.
Forwarding to Meta AI
WhatsApp has also added the option to forward messages or media directly to Meta AI. When a user selects a message, image, or video to forward, “Meta AI” shows up as one of the options. This allows users to get instant context or explanations without needing to copy and paste content manually.
The new feature is currently rolling out to select users and is expected to expand further in the coming weeks.
