Pakistan Defeats Iran to Reach Semi-Finals of Asian U-16 Volleyball Championship

LAHORE – Pakistan’s U-16 Boys Volleyball Team continued their impressive run at the 2nd Asian U-16 Boys Volleyball Championship in Nakhon Phanom, Thailand, defeating Iran 3-1 in a thrilling final group-stage encounter on Thursday.

Match Summary: Pakistan vs. Iran

Pakistan sealed victory with set scores of 25-23, 25-19, 22-25, and 31-29, showcasing strong performances from standout players Irfan, Wahab, Abdullah, and Saran.

With this win, Pakistan topped Group A and secured a place in the semi-finals, where they will face traditional rivals India on Friday. In the other semi-final, Group B leaders Japan will take on Iran.


Pakistan Already Qualified for U-17 World Championship

Earlier this week, Pakistan secured a spot in the U-17 World Volleyball Championship after a dominant 3-0 victory over Indonesia with set scores of 25-23, 25-20, 25-20.

The team has remained undefeated in the tournament so far, making this one of Pakistan’s most successful campaigns at the youth level.
