Cricket fans are in for a treat as Pakistan and India are set to renew their iconic rivalry in the Asia Cup Rising Stars Championship 2025, announced by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC).

The rebranded T20 tournament will be held in Doha, Qatar, from November 14 to 23, bringing together eight of Asia’s top developing cricket teams.


🏏 Tournament Overview

Formerly known as the Emerging Teams Asia Cup, this event focuses on nurturing the next generation of Asian cricket talent. The five Test-playing nations — India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan — will field their “A” teams, while UAE, Oman, and Hong Kong will participate with their senior national sides.

Group A: Pakistan A, India A, UAE, Oman
Group B: Sri Lanka A, Bangladesh A, Afghanistan A, Hong Kong

Unlike the senior Asia Cup, this edition will skip the Super Four stage. The top two teams from each group will directly qualify for the semi-finals, making every match high-stakes.
