Pakistan’s Ayesha Ayaz Shines with Gold and Bronze at International Taekwondo Championship
Pakistan’s youngest taekwondo star, Ayesha Ayaz, has once again brought pride to the nation by winning both a gold and a bronze medal at the MBW International Taekwondo Championship 2025 in Malaysia.
The event featured more than 4,200 athletes from 32 countries, making it one of the most competitive tournaments of the year. Pakistan’s athletes from Swat not only participated but made history with their outstanding performances.
✨ Ayesha Ayaz, celebrated for her remarkable journey since childhood, showcased her skill and determination to secure top honors. Her elder brother, Mohammad Zaryab Khan, added to the family’s glory by claiming a gold medal after a series of impressive matches.
Their youngest sibling, Gulalai Ayaz, earned the title of Best Fighter of the Tournament and also secured a bronze medal, winning hearts with her courage and fighting spirit.
This remarkable achievement marks the first time in Pakistan’s history that three siblings have collectively won four medals at an international taekwondo competition. Their victory has sparked celebrations in Swat and across the country, where people see their success as an inspiration for the youth.
Speaking after her win, Ayesha said:
