PIA Sharjah Celebrates 78th Independence Day with Staff, Passengers, and Community Members
Sharjah, UAE – Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) Sharjah branch organized a vibrant celebration to mark the 78th Independence Day of Pakistan. The event, hosted by PIA Sharjah Area Manager Zeeshan Ahmed, saw participation from PIA staff, passengers, and prominent community members.
The ceremony began with a recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by the national anthem, which was played with deep respect and reverence. Amidst chants of “Pakistan Zindabad,” Area Manager Zeeshan
Ahmed, along with PIA staff, cut the 78th Independence Day cake.
Speaking to the media, Zeeshan Ahmed expressed his optimism about PIA’s future, stating that the airline is set to regain its position as the number one airline. He welcomed the revival of PIA’s Europe routes as a highly positive development and emphasized the importance of projecting Pakistan’s best image globally.
On the occasion, Zeeshan Ahmed extended heartfelt greetings to all overseas Pakistanis and announced special discounted fares by PIA to serve the community during the Independence Day celebrations.
The cake-cutting ceremony was attended by PIA Sharjah and Northern Emirates team members, including station managers Atif Nadeem and Shakeel Anwar, as well as staff members Aamir Iqbal and Khurram. The event concluded with prayers for the safety and prosperity of Pakistan and the UAE.
