MDCAT 2025: Registration Fee Increased by 80%, Exam Scheduled for October 5
Islamabad, August 8, 2025 –
Aspiring medical and dental students in Pakistan are facing a significant hike in the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) 2025 registration fee, which has increased by 80% over the past two years, adding to the financial pressure on thousands of families.
In 2023, the MDCAT registration fee stood at Rs5,000, which rose to Rs7,000 in 2024. Now in 2025, candidates are required to pay Rs9,000 to appear in the test. Based on last year’s turnout of 32,977 students, the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) is projected to generate nearly Rs2.96 billion in revenue from this year’s registrations.
MDCAT 2025 Exam Date and Test Centers
PMDC has announced that the MDCAT 2025 will take place simultaneously in Pakistan and Saudi Arabia on Sunday, October 5, 2025. The test will be conducted by the following universities across different regions:

Candidates must choose their test center based on their domicile, and no changes will be permitted after submission.
