The Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 11 is gearing up for a historic expansion as the tournament will, for the first time, be hosted across six major cities in Pakistan.
According to PSL CEO Salman Naseer, the 2026 edition will feature matches in Lahore, Karachi, Multan, Peshawar, Faisalabad, and Rawalpindi — making it the most widespread season in the league’s history.
“This is a landmark moment for the PSL and Pakistan cricket,” said Salman Naseer. “By expanding to new venues, we are bringing the game closer to fans across the country.”
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has been upgrading stadiums and facilities nationwide to meet international standards. With the latest improvements, both Peshawar and Faisalabad are now ready to host top-tier cricket after years of anticipation.
Fans across social media have welcomed the announcement, calling it a major step toward promoting cricket at the grassroots level. The expansion is expected to attract bigger crowds, strengthen regional engagement, and boost local economies through sports tourism.
The inclusion of Faisalabad has also sparked speculation that future PSL teams could emerge from Sialkot and Faisalabad, two cities known for their strong cricketing heritage — though no official confirmation has been made yet.
Further details, including the official schedule and team home bases, will be released in the coming months.
The PSL’s continued growth highlights Pakistan’s commitment to reviving and celebrating cricket at home — ensuring that the nation’s most popular sporting event reaches every corner of the country.
