Pakistan Stock Exchange to Close on August 14, 2025, for Independence Day
The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) has declared a public holiday on Thursday, August 14, 2025, in celebration of Pakistan’s Independence Day. The exchange will be closed for all Trading Right Entitlement Certificate (TREC) holders, staff, and other stakeholders on this day.
Similarly, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has also announced it will remain closed on August 14, 2025, in observance of the national holiday, as confirmed in an official statement from the government.
Investors and market participants are advised to plan accordingly due to the closure of both the PSX and SBP on this significant day.
