Attock Administration to Launch Electric Buses and Improve Traffic System

Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) General Anil Saeed has announced that the district administration is taking concrete steps to improve the traffic system in Attock.

He made the statement while chairing a meeting of the Regional Transport Authority (RTA) at the DC Office on Monday. The session was attended by RTA Secretary Sardar Zaheer Ahmed Khan, Chief Officer Municipal Committee Attock Sardar Aftab Ahmed Khan, DSP Motorway Police Manzoor Khan, and other key officials.

  • Use of gas cylinders in vehicles

The meeting also reviewed plans for solar-powered traffic signals, computerization of weighing stations, and strict action against vehicles with expired route permits. Officials further discussed the improvement of bus terminals to facilitate passengers.
