Chief Minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz, has announced a major expansion of the Minority Card initiative, increasing the number of cards to 75,000 for deserving members of minority communities across the province.

Under the special directives of the Chief Minister, each eligible cardholder will now receive financial assistance of Rs. 10,500 every quarter. This step aims to provide greater financial relief to marginalized families.

To qualify, applicants must:

  • Hold a valid CNIC

  • Be registered with NADRA

  • Have a Poverty Means Test (PMT) score of 45 or below

Eligibility will be verified through data from NADRA, BISP, and PSPA, ensuring transparency in the process.

For registration, applicants can either call 1040 or apply through the online portal launched by the Punjab government. The last date to submit applications is September 30, 2025.

This expansion reflects the Punjab government’s commitment to supporting minority communities and ensuring equal access to social welfare initiatives.
