SSP Rafat Bukhari Honoured with Prestigious International Award in Chicago

Punjab Police Officer SSP Rafat Bukhari has earned international recognition by receiving the Excellence in Performance Award from the International Association of Women Police (IAWP) during their 61st annual conference in Chicago, USA. This prestigious award is presented annually to one female police officer worldwide for outstanding service to their community.

SSP Bukhari, who currently serves with the Punjab Safe Cities Authority, was honoured for her exceptional contributions in areas such as women’s safety, artificial intelligence, intelligent traffic management, and the development of road safety mechanisms. Her efforts have not only advanced law enforcement in Pakistan but also brought international acclaim to the country.

The award was presented by IAWP President Deborah Friedl, who praised SSP Bukhari’s significant impact in law enforcement. This accolade is a testament to her dedication and hard work in ensuring a safer community.
