Rawalpindi’s difficult run in the Pakistan Super League (PSL 11) continued as they faced a 61-run defeat against Quetta Gladiators in the 18th match at the National Bank Stadium.

Chasing a target of 184 runs, Rawalpindi were bowled out for 121 in 17.3 overs, failing to build strong partnerships and extending their winless streak in the tournament.

Batting Performance

Saad Masood provided some resistance with 31 runs off 19 balls, while Daryl Mitchell scored 30 runs from 32 deliveries. Yasir Khan (22) and Abdullah Fazal (20) were the other notable contributors, but the team struggled to maintain momentum throughout the innings.

Quetta Gladiators’ Bowling

Quetta’s bowlers delivered a disciplined performance. Usman Tariq, Jahandad Khan, and captain Saud Shakeel took two wickets each, while Kashif Bhatti and Abrar Ahmed supported with one wicket apiece.

Quetta Gladiators’ Innings

Earlier, Quetta Gladiators posted 182/6 in their 20 overs after being asked to bat first.

Rilee Rossouw top-scored with 53 off 42 balls, including six fours and a six, while Saud Shakeel added 42 off 39 deliveries. The pair built an 87-run partnership for the second wicket.

Late contributions from Hasan Nawaz (39 off 16 balls) and Jahandad Khan (21 not out) helped Quetta reach a competitive total.

For Rawalpindi, Ben Sears took three wickets, while Mohammad Amir claimed two and Mubasir Khan took one.
