Security Forces Foil Major Terrorist Infiltration in Balochistan
Balochistan, August 26, 2025 – Pakistan’s security forces have successfully neutralized a significant group of militants from Fitna al-Khawarij attempting to infiltrate the Sambaza border region.
A coordinated operation conducted between August 7 and 9 resulted in the elimination of 47 terrorists, most of whom were reportedly Afghan nationals. Officials say the operation prevented potential terrorist attacks, marking a major success for Pakistan’s security and intelligence agencies.
According to sources, the militants’ bodies primarily fell on the Afghan side of the border. Due to delayed action from Afghan authorities, the remains remained exposed for days before being transported following a tribal jirga.
Security sources emphasized that stopping this group before they could carry out attacks strengthens border security and underscores the effectiveness of ongoing counterterrorism efforts in the region.
