Shah Rukh Khan Injured on Set of ‘King’, Advised One-Month Rest by Doctors
Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who recently delivered massive box office hits like Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki, has been temporarily sidelined due to an injury sustained during the shooting of his upcoming film King.
The much-anticipated action drama, directed by Siddharth Anand, stars Shah Rukh alongside his daughter Suhana Khan, Rani Mukerji, Abhishek Bachchan, and Anil Kapoor. The film was scheduled for an intensive shoot during July and August but has now been postponed.
💥 High-Octane Stunt Leads to Injury
According to reports, the actor suffered a muscular strain while performing a high-intensity stunt sequence. The injury required immediate medical attention, prompting Shah Rukh to travel to the United States for treatment.
A source close to the production told Hindustan Times,
“He was shooting in Mumbai when the injury occurred. While it’s not considered serious, it’s still being taken seriously due to the physical nature of the film.”
🏥 Recovery and Postponement
Doctors have recommended a full month of rest before Shah Rukh can return to filming. This pause in the schedule means that production on King will now resume after September 2025.
The source added,
“Shah Rukh has been advised to focus on recovery. When he returns to set, it will be with extra care to avoid further strain.”
