The Organic Meat Company Enters Tajikistan Market, Expands Halal Exports in CIS Region
The Organic Meat Company Limited (PSX: TOMCL) has officially announced its entry into the Tajikistan market, marking its debut in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) region. This strategic move signals a significant milestone in the company’s efforts to expand Pakistan’s halal meat exports into new international markets.
$3.24 Million in Confirmed Export Orders
TOMCL has commenced production and exports of frozen boneless beef, specifically tailored to meet Tajikistan’s regulatory and import standards. The company has already secured confirmed export orders worth $3.24 million, which are expected to be fulfilled within the current financial year.
Growing Demand in Eurasia
The company’s expansion into Tajikistan builds on its earlier export successes in Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan. TOMCL noted a growing demand for Pakistani halal meat in underexplored Eurasian markets, reflecting rising customer confidence in the company’s product quality, supply consistency, and logistics efficiency.
Boosting Pakistan’s Export Diversification
TOMCL emphasized that this achievement aligns with Pakistan’s broader goal of diversifying exports, generating new foreign exchange inflows, and strengthening the country’s presence in non-traditional markets. The development is also expected to unlock new revenue opportunities and enhance profit margins for the company.
Future Plans
Company management reaffirmed its commitment to further expanding its halal meat export footprint across the CIS region, as well as into Central Asia and Eastern Europe, as part of its long-term international growth strategy.
