Karachi Traffic Plan Issued for Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) Processions

Karachi Traffic Police have announced a detailed traffic management plan for the Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) processions scheduled across the city tomorrow, 12th Rabi-ul-Awal.

Every year, the city celebrates Eid Milad-un-Nabi with public processions, gatherings, and religious events. According to the traffic police, all Senior Superintendent of Police (SSPs) will personally supervise processions in their respective districts.

🕌 Procession Details:

  • First Procession: Starts at 2:30 pm from Memon Masjid, concluding at Aram Bagh Masjid.

  • Central Procession: Led by Maulana Shah Abdul Haq Qadri, begins at 3:00 pm from Memon Masjid and ends at Nishtar Park.

  • Vehicle Restrictions: Only vehicles participating in the processions with official stickers will be allowed on MA Jinnah Road.


🚗 Alternative Routes:

District Central:

  • From Nazimabad: Use Lasbela Chowk via Nishtar Road toward Garden.

  • From Liaquatabad: Proceed from Teen Hatti to Lasbela Chowk, then turn left toward Central Jail.

  • From Hassan Square to PPP Chowrangi: Take Kashmir Road → Society Light Signal → Jail Flyover → Teen Hatti → Nishtar Road (Lasbela Chowk).

District East:

  • From Shahrah-e-Faisal toward Numaish: Use Shahrah-e-Quaideen → Society Light Signal → turn right on Kashmir Road.

  • From Jamshed Road toward Guru Mandir: Take Bahadur Yar Jang Road → Soldier Bazaar.

District South:

  • From Garden Zoo to MA Jinnah Road: Divert via Uncle Sarya → Gul Plaza or Coast Guard near Holy Family Hospital.

  • From Lucky Star to MA Jinnah Road via Empress Market: Divert from Saddar Dawakhana → PPP Chowrangi.

  • Towards Burns Road: Divert from Abdullah Haroon Road → MR Kiyani Chowk.

  • From MR Kiyani Chowk to Court Road: Divert from Arts Council (Strachan Road) → Pakistan Chowk.

  • From Shahrah-e-Liaquat toward Burns Road: Divert via Aram Bagh signal → Pakistan Chowk.


⚠️ Important Announcements:

  • Heavy and commercial vehicles will be banned across the city on 12th Rabi-ul-Awal.

  • Citizens are advised to use alternative routes to avoid delays and reach their destinations smoothly.

The Karachi Traffic Police urge motorists to plan their travel in advance and cooperate during the processions to ensure smooth traffic flow.
