Federal Government Approves Two New Interchanges to Boost Access to Ravi Riverfront Project
In a significant development aimed at enhancing urban connectivity, the federal government has approved the construction of two new interchanges to facilitate direct access between the Ravi Riverfront Urban Development Project (RRUDP) and nearby motorways.
The approval was granted during a high-level meeting held at the National Highway Authority (NHA) regional office, chaired by Federal Minister for Communications Abdul Aleem Khan.
Strategic Focus on Infrastructure Alignment
The meeting focused on aligning the Ravi Urban Development Authority (RUDA) master plan with the broader national highway network to ensure seamless integration between ongoing urban expansion and Pakistan’s growing road infrastructure.
“The new interchanges are designed to support future traffic flow and urban growth associated with Ravi City,” said a RUDA official.
