UAE Promises Easier Visa Access for Pakistanis After High-Level Meeting

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi Secures UAE Commitment to Ease Visa Process for Pakistanis

During his official visit to Abu Dhabi, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi secured a key commitment from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to simplify visa procedures for Pakistani citizens.

In a meeting with UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Lt General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the two leaders discussed various bilateral matters, with a focus on easing visa challenges. Minister Naqvi highlighted the difficulties Pakistanis face in obtaining work permits and other visas.

“We want Pakistani citizens to come to the UAE with ease,” Naqvi emphasized. Sheikh Saif assured full cooperation and pledged to explore ways to facilitate smoother visa processes.


Strengthening Pakistan-UAE Ties

The meeting reaffirmed the strong partnership between Pakistan and the UAE, emphasizing cooperation in immigration, security, and counter-narcotics.

Minister Naqvi also visited the Abu Dhabi Police operations center, where he reviewed advanced surveillance technologies and expressed interest in adopting similar systems in Pakistan.

He described the Pakistan-UAE relationship as a valuable asset and pledged to expand collaboration, particularly in areas impacting citizens such as visa facilitation.
