Jack Draper Targets Another Dream Run at US Open 2025
New York – August 25, 2025:
British No. 1 Jack Draper is all set to begin his US Open 2025 campaign, aiming to repeat last year’s breakthrough performance that saw him storm into the semi-finals.
Seeded fifth in the men’s singles draw, Draper will open against Argentine qualifier Federico Agustin Gomez, currently ranked 206th in the world.
Draper Returns After Injury
The 23-year-old has not featured since a second-round exit at Wimbledon against Marin Cilic. An arm injury kept him out of the early hard-court season, but Draper has now fully recovered and is ready for the New York challenge.
His draw sets up the possibility of a quarter-final clash with defending champion Jannik Sinner, a matchup fans are already anticipating.

Draper’s first-round match will take place on Monday, August 25, scheduled second on the Louis Armstrong Stadium.
