Digital Fare System Approved for Metro and Orange Line
In a landmark decision, the government has approved the transition to a digital fare payment system for the Lahore Orange Line, and Metro Bus services in Lahore, Rawalpindi, Multan, and Islamabad. The traditional token-based fare collection will be phased out in favor of a modern barcode and card-based system.
