England A to Face All Blacks XV in Historic Bath Clash This November
Bath, UK: International rugby returns to The Recreation Ground this November as England A prepares to face the All Blacks XV for the first time on Saturday, 8 November, with kick-off at 1:15 pm.
Bath, home of last season’s treble winners, is expected to supply several players to the England A squad, adding to the excitement for local fans. England A previously fielded an all-Bath midfield when they beat Ireland A 28-12 in February, with fan favorite Alfie Barbeary also in the line-up.
The England A side has been unbeaten since its reinstatement in November 2023, with victories over Portugal (91-5) and Australia XV (38-17). However, the All Blacks XV, featuring a mix of capped and uncapped players, will provide a formidable challenge after wins against Munster (38-24) and Georgia (31-13) during last year’s tour.
RFU Executive Director of Performance, Conor O’Shea, highlighted the importance of this fixture, saying it provides a “fantastic test for England A in a vibrant international setting.” Bath Rugby CEO Tarquin McDonald added: “It’s a proud moment for our club and a great chance for fans to witness top-tier rugby at the Rec.”
Tickets: Season ticket holders enjoy a 48-hour pre-sale, while general sale starts Friday, 15 August at 10 am. Prices start at £25 for adults and £15 for kids (U16). Fans can secure tickets via the Bath Rugby website.
