FESCO Extends Bill Payment Deadline for Tube Well Consumers by 10 Days
The Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) has announced a 10-day extension for the payment of electricity bills for approximately 53,000 tube well consumers. This move aims to support the agricultural sector, which is currently facing financial challenges, particularly during active crop cycles when cash flow is often limited.
No Late Payment Charges
Under the revised policy, no late payment surcharge will be applied during the extended grace period. FESCO has also updated bill records to reflect the new due dates, and customers can view their revised bills through the company’s online billing platform.
Support for the Agricultural Sector
This is not the first time FESCO has introduced such a relief measure. In May 2025, a similar 10-day extension was provided to assist tube well consumers during a critical phase of the agricultural calendar.
FESCO officials explained that the extension is part of a broader strategy to ease financial pressure on farmers and ensure that farming operations remain uninterrupted. Delayed bill payments often lead to the risk of disconnections, which the utility aims to prevent by offering this temporary relief.
How to Access Updated Billing Information
Eligible consumers are encouraged to:
-
Visit the official FESCO online billing portal
-
Check updated due dates for their electricity bills
-
Complete payments within the extended period to avoid penalties
This extension reflects FESCO’s ongoing efforts to align utility services with the unique needs of the farming community, especially during high-demand agricultural seasons.
