India has once again continued its water aggression, this time releasing water into the Jhelum River from Indian-occupied Kashmir.
According to the State Disaster Management Authority (SDMA), the flow of water released from the Indian side has entered Azad Kashmir through the Line of Control at Chakothi. Officials confirmed that the surge has increased the water levels of the Jhelum River in Muzaffarabad, raising concerns for nearby areas.
The SDMA further stated that continuous monitoring of the river’s water flow is underway to ensure timely updates and precautionary measures for residents.
Authorities have advised citizens to stay alert and follow safety guidelines as the situation develops.
