Pakistan Cricket Team Begins Pre-Tournament Camp in Dubai Ahead of Tri-Series and Asia Cup
The Pakistan national cricket team has arrived in Dubai to start their pre-tournament preparations ahead of the upcoming Tri-Nation Series and the 2025 Asia Cup.
According to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the squad will arrive in four separate groups and convene at the ICC Academy, with official training set to begin on August 21. The camp will continue until August 27, after which the team will shift focus to the tri-series.
Tri-Nation Series Schedule
Pakistan will open their campaign against Afghanistan at 8:00 p.m. (PST) at Sharjah Cricket Stadium, followed by matches against the UAE. Each team will face the others twice, with the top two sides advancing to the final on September 7.
2025 Asia Cup
Immediately following the tri-series, the Asia Cup kicks off on September 9 with Afghanistan taking on Hong Kong. Pakistan has been drawn in Group A alongside India, UAE, and Oman, setting up a highly anticipated clash against their arch-rivals India on September 14. Other group matches include Oman on September 12 and hosts UAE on September 17.
With a busy schedule ahead, the Men in Green will use the Dubai camp to fine-tune combinations and build momentum ahead of the Asia Cup battles.
