PAF Pilot Files FIR Alleging Blackmail After Refusing Marriage Proposal
A Pakistan Air Force (PAF) pilot, stationed at M.M. Alam Airbase in Mianwali, has filed a complaint at Mianwali Saddar Police Station, alleging blackmail and harassment by a woman after he declined her marriage proposal.
According to a report by Dawn, the case has been registered under FIR No. 232/25. The woman involved has been identified as “A,” a resident of Chah Hameedwala, Gadayi Shumali, Tehsil Dera Ghazi Khan.
The FIR includes serious legal charges under sections 419, 420, 500, 506, and 211 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC), along with Section 25-D of the Telegraph Act 1985, which pertains to misuse of communication systems.
📱 Social Media Connection Turned Sour
In his statement, the PAF officer explained that his first interaction with the woman occurred via social media, where she introduced herself under the false name “Rafia” from Multan. During their conversations, she reportedly described personal hardships and expressed a desire to marry him.
The two later met in person on April 24, 2025, in Multan. It was during this meeting, the pilot claims, that her true identity was revealed — contradicting her earlier claims. He said he became suspicious of her intentions and cut off communication.
🚨 Allegations of Harassment and Threats
Following the refusal, the woman allegedly began making repeated phone calls to the officer, demanding marriage and threatening him with “serious consequences” if he did not comply. He further claimed she threatened to falsely accuse him of rape, adding that she had previously been involved in a similar case in 2021 at the Women Police Station in Multan under Section 376.
The pilot described her as a habitual blackmailer and has requested legal action to prevent further harassment and safeguard his reputation and career.
🚔 Police Investigation Underway
Authorities have begun investigating the matter based on the evidence and legal sections cited in the FIR. The case highlights the growing concerns around online impersonation, cyber harassment, and false allegations, urging caution in digital interactions.
