Pakistan Army Rescues Stranded Tourists Amid Babusar and Karakoram Highway Flooding
In response to severe flooding and landslides in the Babusar region and along the Karakoram Highway, the Pakistan Army has launched a full-scale rescue and relief operation to ensure the safety of stranded tourists and travelers.
🚁 Swift Evacuation by Helicopter
So far, 15 helicopter sorties have been carried out to safely evacuate people from high-risk zones. Tourists and locals have been airlifted to secure areas where they are receiving shelter and assistance.

Following overnight efforts, the road from Skardu to Sadpara Mountaineering School and Deosai to Sadpara village has now been completely cleared, and traffic flow has resumed.
