Pakistani Rupee Extends Winning Streak Against US Dollar
The Pakistani rupee continued to strengthen against the US dollar in the inter-bank market on Tuesday, appreciating by 0.01%. At the end of trading, the local currency closed at Rs. 281.72, gaining Rs. 0.03 against the greenback.
This marks the 18th consecutive session of gains for the rupee. Since August 6, 2025, the currency has appreciated by a total of Rs. 0.95 against the US dollar. On Monday, the rupee had closed at Rs. 281.75.
💱 Open Market Rates
According to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the dollar was being bought at Rs. 282.6 and sold at Rs. 283.4 in the open market.
