Petrol and Diesel Prices Increased Again: Latest Rates Announced by Finance Division

The federal government has announced yet another hike in petroleum prices, affecting both petrol and high-speed diesel, as part of the latest fortnightly review.

New Fuel Prices Effective Immediately

According to a notification issued by the Finance Division, the updated prices are as follows:

  • Petrol: Increased by Rs. 5.36 per liter, now priced at Rs. 272.15

  • High-Speed Diesel (HSD): Increased by Rs. 11.37 per liter, now priced at Rs. 284.35

Recent Fuel Price History

This marks the third consecutive increase in fuel prices over recent weeks:

  • Previous Review:

    • Petrol was raised by Rs. 8.36, reaching Rs. 266.79

    • Diesel was increased by Rs. 10.39, reaching Rs. 272.98

  • Mid-June Review:

    • Petrol rose by Rs. 4.80 per liter

    • Diesel jumped by Rs. 7.95 per liter
