Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has officially launched the second phase of the Honhaar Scholarship Program, promising expanded educational opportunities for thousands of students across the province.
Announcing the development on her official X (formerly Twitter) account, Maryam Nawaz called the dreams of Punjab’s youth “the heartbeat of the province’s future” and urged them to apply with confidence.
Since its launch last year, the Honhaar Program has already supported 80,000 students. At present, 50,000 students are receiving scholarships, with another 30,000 set to benefit in the coming phase.
Covering 67 different fields, the program is designed to prepare students for successful careers by equipping them with essential skills and knowledge.
“The portal for the next phase of Honhaar is now open,” the Chief Minister said, encouraging students to stay dedicated to their studies and believe in their potential.
The Honhaar Scholarship aims to help talented youth access quality education and training, enabling them to build strong career paths while contributing to Punjab’s progress. With its second phase now underway, the initiative is set to reach even more students and invest further in the future of the province.
