According to officials, thermal drones were used in flood-hit districts including Sialkot, Sargodha, Gujrat, and Jhang. The technology allowed rescue teams to spot citizens and livestock trapped in inaccessible areas, enabling swift evacuations.

Authorities reported that over 800 rescue cases were successfully managed with drone assistance, making this one of the largest technology-driven disaster responses in Punjab’s history.
