SSGC Announces Gas Supply Schedule for August 14

SSGC Cancels Gas Suspension in Karachi West on August 14

Karachi, Pakistan – The Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) has announced that the planned gas suspension in District West, Karachi, scheduled for August 14, has been cancelled. This reverses an earlier notice that had warned residents and businesses of a temporary shutdown.

The previous announcement affected areas including Haroonabad SITE, Sher Shah, Jehanabad, Mianwali Colony, Lashari Mohalla, Metroville, Bawani Chali, Pathan Colony, Old Golimar, Rexer Colony, Hasan Oliya, and Muslimabad, along with industrial zones like SITE Industrial Area, Gulbai, Mauripur, Tikri Village, and Muslim Colony.

The suspension was originally planned to allow relocation of a gas pipeline for the Karachi Water Board, but the pipeline restoration program has now been postponed.

An SSGC spokesperson confirmed the cancellation, emphasizing that the decision ensures uninterrupted gas supply for residents and businesses during the Independence Day holiday.
