Rockies Snap Eight-Game Losing Streak with 3-0 Win Over Cardinals

Denver, CO – Kyle Freeland delivered a strong performance, allowing just five hits over a season-high 7 1/3 innings, as the Colorado Rockies defeated the St. Louis Cardinals 3-0 on Tuesday night, ending an eight-game losing streak.

Hunter Goodman powered the offense with a two-run home run in the fourth inning, while Kyle Farmer added an RBI single in the fifth to secure the Rockies’ lead.

Victor Vodnik closed the game with 1 2/3 scoreless innings, earning his third save of the season and completing Colorado’s second shutout of the year.

Cardinals starter Matthew Liberatore struggled after a strong start, allowing three runs on four hits and a walk in four-plus innings. The game also saw a rain delay of 41 minutes before play resumed.
