Team East returns home from Junior League Softball World Series with ‘glowing’ welcome from community

KIRKLAND, WA / INDIANA โ€”
After securing an impressive third-place finish at the Junior League Softball World Series in Kirkland, Washington, Team East (Indiana) was greeted with a warm and festive homecoming on Sunday evening.

As the team bus arrived near IRMC Park around 9:50 p.m., it was met with flashing lights, blaring sirens, and heartfelt cheers from local supporters. Proud family members and community residents waved signs and celebrated the bronze medalistsโ€™ hard-fought journey.

The heartfelt welcome capped off a memorable experience for the young athletes, whose determination and teamwork brought pride to their hometown and state.
