Gold Rate in Pakistan Increases by Over Rs. 5,000 Per Tola in Just Two Days

Gold Prices Surge by Rs. 2,300 per Tola, Reaching Rs. 357,000

The price of 24-karat gold rose by Rs. 2,300 per tola on Friday, trading at Rs. 357,000, up from Rs. 354,700 recorded in the previous session, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

This follows a significant Rs. 3,200 per tola increase on Thursday, bringing the total two-day gain to Rs. 5,500 per tola.

Meanwhile, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also climbed by Rs. 1,971, closing at Rs. 306,069 compared to Rs. 304,098 earlier.

Internationally, gold prices rose as well, reaching $3,345 per ounce including a $20 premium, marking a $21 increase, APGJSA reported.

Silver prices also saw an uptick, increasing by Rs. 86 per tola to close at Rs. 3,937.
