The game was played in two 45-minute halves, following a morning gym session for the squad. On the same day, Real Madrid Castilla faced Andorra in a separate pre-season match, losing 3-1.

Next up, Real Madrid will play their only open pre-season friendly against WSG Tirol on August 12 at the Tivoli Stadion in Innsbruck.
