Yamaha Motor Pakistan (Private) Limited has announced that it will discontinue motorcycle manufacturing in the country, citing changes in its business strategy.

In an official statement released on Tuesday, the company thanked its customers for their loyalty and support over the years.

β€œDue to a change in our business policy, we would like to inform you that we will discontinue manufacturing motorcycles. We sincerely appreciate your long-standing support and loyalty,” the statement read.

While production will stop, Yamaha assured customers that aftersales services will continue according to company policies. Spare parts will remain available through YMPK-authorized dealers, ensuring that customers’ needs are met. Warranty services will also continue under the existing scheme.

β€œWe remain committed to supporting your motorcycle experience and will continue to serve our customers sincerely until the very end,” the statement added.

This decision marks a significant shift for Pakistan’s motorcycle market, where Yamaha has maintained a dedicated customer base.
