LESCO Announces Six-Hour Power Shutdown in Lahore on Sunday
The Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) has announced a six-hour electricity shutdown in parts of Lahore on Sunday, September 20, due to essential development work.
According to LESCO, power supply from the Urdu Bazaar and Kacheri Road feeders, linked to the Bhatti Gate Grid Station, will remain suspended from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Areas to Face Power Suspension
The scheduled outage is linked to ongoing work being carried out under the Data Darbar and Kacheri Road projects. LESCO said the temporary suspension is necessary to complete the required work safely and efficiently.
Consumers connected to the affected feeders have been advised to plan their electricity-dependent activities accordingly and make alternative arrangements where necessary.
Electricity Supply to Resume After Work
LESCO said power supply will be restored after the scheduled work is completed. Consumers have been advised to complete important electricity-related tasks before the shutdown begins.
The company has also requested affected consumers to cooperate with the maintenance and development activities during the scheduled outage.
