Xavier Edwards and Marlins Look to Extend Braves’ Struggles in Doubleheader

Miami Marlins’ second baseman Xavier Edwards, batting over .300 this season, aims to keep his hot streak alive as the Marlins take on the Atlanta Braves in a doubleheader on Saturday.

After a strong 5-1 victory on Friday, the Marlins evened the series and are now just one game shy of reaching .500. Currently, Miami trails by 5Β½ games in the battle for the final National League wild-card spot.

Meanwhile, the Braves continue to struggle, having lost 12 of their last 16 games, and are already out of playoff contention.
