Mark Selby Joins Elite 900-Century Club at Saudi Arabia Snooker Masters
Snooker legend Mark Selby has etched his name into the sport’s history books by becoming only the fifth player ever to reach 900 career centuries. The milestone came during his last-16 match against Neil Robertson at the Saudi Arabia Snooker Masters.
The four-time World Champion, who turned professional in 1999, achieved the feat in style, producing a break of 119 in the second frame. This landmark ton now puts Selby within striking distance of the prestigious 1,000-century club – an elite group currently featuring Ronnie O’Sullivan, Judd Trump, John Higgins, and potentially Neil Robertson, who is just 11 centuries away from the milestone.
