Atlanta, Ga.Michael Harris II led a stunning nine-run fourth inning that powered the Atlanta Braves to an 11-6 comeback win over the struggling New York Mets on Wednesday night, marking Atlanta’s biggest inning in nearly five years.

Braves’ Big Inning
Atlanta trailed 6-0 in a game delayed 95 minutes due to rain before erupting against David Peterson and Reed Garrett (3-5). Peterson’s fourth inning included four walks, highlighted by a bases-loaded walk to Nick Allen, followed by a three-run double from Jurickson Profar. Marcell Ozuna added an RBI single, and Harris capped the rally with a 417-foot homer to center field.

The nine-run outburst was the Braves’ largest since Sept. 9, 2020, when they scored 11 in the second inning against the Miami Marlins.

Additional Braves Offense
Ozuna continued his hot hitting with a two-run homer in the sixth inning, helping Atlanta maintain momentum.

Pitching Notes
Reliever Aaron Bummer (2-2) led five Braves pitchers following Carlos Carrasco, tossing 2 1/3 scoreless innings. Carrasco gave up six runs in two innings.

For the Mets, Pete Alonso had a two-run single, Cedric Mullins delivered a sacrifice fly in the first, Juan Soto hit a 407-foot two-run homer, and Jeff McNeil added an RBI double in the second. Peterson surrendered a season-high six runs over just 3 1/3 innings, and the Mets have now lost 12 of their last 14 games.
