Pakistan Refinery Limited (PRL) has announced a 15-day operational shutdown starting August 17, 2025, to carry out essential regeneration and maintenance work.

In a notification to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company confirmed that the refinery will remain non-operational during this period as part of its scheduled maintenance cycle.

Established in May 1960 as a public limited company, PRL is engaged in the production and sale of petroleum products. It operates as a subsidiary of Pakistan State Oil Company Limited (PSO), supplying refined petroleum to meet the country’s energy demands.

The planned maintenance aims to ensure operational efficiency and maintain product quality standards, reflecting PRL’s commitment to safe and sustainable operations.
