Petrol Price Falls to Rs. 392.66 Per Litre in Latest Revision
The federal government has reduced petrol and diesel prices in Pakistan, according to the latest update attributed to the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA).
Petrol has become cheaper by Rs. 2.71 per litre, bringing its price down to Rs. 392.66. Diesel has also seen a slight reduction of Rs. 0.03 per litre, taking its new price to Rs. 396.82.
In the previous revision on October 12, petrol was priced at Rs. 395.37 per litre after a reduction of Rs. 2.93. Diesel, meanwhile, had increased by Rs. 0.61 to Rs. 396.85 per litre.
The latest figures show a further decline in petrol prices, while diesel rates have remained almost unchanged.
Since daily fuel price revisions began, petrol has recorded a cumulative increase of Rs. 81.51 per litre, while diesel has risen by Rs. 72.30 per litre, according to the figures provided.
The latest reduction offers some relief to motorists, although both fuels remain significantly more expensive than they were before the recent series of price increases.
