WBSC U-15 Baseball World Cup 2026 Super Round Schedule Announced

The World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) has announced the schedule for the Super Round and Placement Round of the 2026 U-15 Baseball World Cup in Mexico.
The second phase of the tournament will begin on Thursday, October 1, with six teams moving into the Super Round in Mérida.
The United States will start the Super Round at the top of the standings with a 2-0 record. The Dominican Republic, defending champions Japan, Mexico and Chinese Taipei will each carry a 1-1 record into the next phase, while Nicaragua will begin with a 0-2 record.
Under the tournament format, teams will face the three sides that advanced from the opposite Opening Round group. Results from matches against teams that also progressed from the same group are carried forward.
The six Super Round teams will play three games each from Thursday through Saturday at Kukulcan Stadium in Mérida.
At the end of the Super Round, the top two teams in the standings will qualify for the World Championship Final on Sunday. The teams finishing third and fourth will compete for the bronze medal.
Meanwhile, six other teams will continue their campaigns in the Placement Round in Cancun.
Venezuela and Germany will enter that phase with 2-0 records, while Australia and Cuba will carry 1-1 records. Czechia and South Africa will begin the Placement Round at 0-2.
The Placement Round teams will also carry forward their results from games played against the teams that advanced from their respective Opening Round groups.
