Chicago Kingsmen Crush Pakistan Shaheens by 69 Runs in Top End T20 2025

Darwin, August 19, 2025:
Chicago Kingsmen registered a dominant victory over Pakistan Shaheens in the 17th match of the Top End T20 Series 2025, securing a massive 69-run win at Darwin on Tuesday.

Kingsmen Post Mammoth Total

Batting first, Chicago Kingsmen piled up an imposing 206/5 in their 20 overs. The star of the show was Milind Kumar, who smashed a blistering 74 off 37 balls, laced with powerful boundaries and sixes all around the park. His aggressive knock laid the perfect foundation for the Kingsmen’s big total.

He was well supported by fellow batters, ensuring the scoreboard pressure remained constant on the Shaheens.

Shaheens Struggle in Chase

In reply, Pakistan Shaheens failed to find momentum and managed only 137/8 in their allotted 20 overs, falling well short of the target of 207.

  • Shahid Aziz provided a brief spark with 24 off 17 balls, but wickets at regular intervals derailed the chase.

  • Mohammad Wasim (16 off 15) and Ubaid Shah (13 off 20) tried to hold the innings together, but the mounting required rate proved too much.

Bowling Brilliance from Kingsmen

The Kingsmen bowlers maintained control throughout, denying the Shaheens any chance of building partnerships.

  • Ghulam Mudassar was impressive with figures of 4-0-29-1.

  • Umer Khan also contributed effectively, finishing with 3-0-19-1.

Player of the Match

Unsurprisingly, Milind Kumar was named Player of the Match for his match-winning knock of 74 runs that powered the Kingsmen to a resounding win.

What’s Next?

With this victory, Chicago Kingsmen strengthen their position in the tournament, while Pakistan Shaheens will need to regroup quickly as they prepare for their upcoming fixtures in the Top End T20 Series 2025.
