Lahore has taken a major step in promoting cue sports with the inauguration of a modern, international-standard snooker stadium in Gulshan Ravi, along with the introduction of a new aluminum snooker table.

The inauguration ceremony was led by Pakistan’s snooker legends, former World Champion Mohammad Yousaf and two-time World Champion Mohammad Asif, who officially cut the ribbon to open the facility. The event was marked by an exhibition match between the two greats, with Mohammad Asif emerging as the winner.

Speaking on the occasion, Mohammad Yousaf, Mohammad Asif, and Imran Noshahi hailed the new stadium as a milestone for Pakistan snooker, emphasizing that the venue is equipped to host both national and international tournaments. They expressed confidence that such developments would take Pakistani snooker to greater heights on the global stage.

At the closing ceremony, Mohammad Asif was honored with the brand-new aluminum snooker table, while Mohammad Yousaf and World Champion Ahsan Ramzan received special awards in recognition of their contributions to the sport.

The launch of this state-of-the-art facility not only provides players with world-class infrastructure but also highlights Pakistan’s commitment to nurturing young talent and strengthening its position in the world of snooker.
