Heavy Rain, Thunderstorms and Hail Expected Across Pakistan This Week

Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecast widespread rain, thunderstorms, and possible hailstorms in several parts of Pakistan during the coming days.
According to the latest advisory, a westerly weather system is expected to enter the northwestern regions on April 16 and may persist in upper parts of the country until April 19.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Weather Forecast
Rain, windstorms, and thunderstorms with isolated heavy rainfall and hailstorms are expected in:
Chitral, Dir, Swat, Kalam, Shangla, Buner, Kohistan, Malakand, Battagram, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Haripur, Mardan, Nowshera, Peshawar, Bajaur, Mohmand, Swabi, Charsadda, Kohat, Kurram, Khyber, and Hangu.
This weather activity is likely from April 16 (evening) to April 19, with occasional breaks.
Light rain and thunderstorms may also occur in Orakzai, Karak, Bannu, Lakki Marwat, Tank, Dera Ismail Khan, and Waziristan on April 17 and 18.
Gilgit-Baltistan
Rain and thunderstorms, along with moderate to heavy rainfall and snowfall over mountains, are expected in:
Diamir, Astore, Ghizer, Skardu, Hunza, Gilgit, Ghanche, and Shigar from April 16 to April 19.
Kashmir
In Azad Jammu and Kashmir, rain, windstorms, and thunderstorms with chances of hail are expected in:
Neelum Valley, Muzaffarabad, Poonch, Bagh, Haveli, Kotli, Bhimber, and Mirpur from April 17 to April 19.
Moderate to heavy rainfall is likely on April 18 and 19.
Balochistan
Rain and thunderstorms are forecast in:
Quetta, Ziarat, Chaman, Pishin, Qilla Abdullah, Qilla Saifullah, Noshki, Zhob, Barkhan, Musakhel, Harnai, and Loralai on April 17 and 18.
Punjab and Islamabad
Rain, thunderstorms, and isolated hailstorms are expected in:
Murree, Galiyat, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Sargodha, Mianwali, Faisalabad, Jhang, Lahore, Gujranwala, Sialkot, and Narowal from April 16 to April 18.
Windstorms and thunderstorms may also affect southern districts including Dera Ghazi Khan, Rajanpur, Layyah, Bhakkar, Multan, and Khanewal during the same period.
Sindh
In upper Sindh, dust storms and strong winds are expected between April 16 and April 18.
