Government Announces Major Cut in Diesel Prices, Petrol Rates Unchanged

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has approved a significant reduction in diesel prices, offering relief to consumers amid improving economic conditions.

According to official details, the price of diesel has been reduced by Rs. 32.12 per litre, bringing it down from Rs. 385.54 to Rs. 353.43 per litre.

The Prime Minister stated that the government is committed to passing on the benefits of declining global oil prices directly to the public. He emphasized that ensuring timely relief for citizens remains a top priority.

Authorities also confirmed that the revised diesel prices will be implemented as soon as possible to provide immediate benefit. However, no announcement has yet been made regarding any change in petrol prices.
